R Programming Language Bootcamp

Learn R, the popular statistical programming language, in one week! Health Sciences Library Data Specialists are offering four free, online workshops on using R for many different tasks including data analysis and visualization. Attend all the workshops as a concentrated “bootcamp” to learn R, or select only those topics of interest to you.

Introduction to R
Monday | August 18, 2025 | 1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m.
This workshop serves as an introduction to the R programming language is intended for beginners to programming.

Data Preparation in R
Tuesday | August 19, 2025 | 1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m.
This workshop builds on the Introduction to R and provides techniques for manipulating your data to ready it for analysis.

Data Visualization in R
Wednesday | August 20, 2025 | 1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m.
This workshop covers fundamental concepts for creating effective data visualization.

Data Visualization in R
Thursday | August 21, 2025 | 1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m.
This workshop provides data cleaning and joining skills to combine disparate data into a single usable dataset.
