Aftershock documentary activistAs a follow up to the previous week’s screening of Aftershock, a documentary on black maternal mortality and the Birth Justice Movement, the University of Virginia School of Medicine’s Office of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion, Health Sciences Library, and University Physician’s Group are hosting a panel discussion featuring members from the Charlottesville and UVA communities who are working to improve outcomes for BIPOC mothers and their families on Wednesday, March 29 at 6:00 p.m., with dinner at 5:30 p.m.

The event is in person, but there is also a virtual option. Parking is available at McLeod Hall Garage at 202 Jeanette Lancaster Way, Charlottesville, VA 22903.
