ORCID, the NIH, and You

If you’re applying for NIH funding, or working with researchers who are, join us in this session to learn more about ORCID.

As of May 25, 2025, NIH will require senior/key personnel on all NIH applications to link their ORCID iD in their eRA Commons Profile. We’ll cover where to obtain an ORCID iD, how to register it with federal system like eRA Commons, where to register your ORCID with UVA, and how to manage ORCID account settings.
