The Hummingbird Fund aims to boost ALS research, advocacy, and support through strong, caring partnerships that focus on patients and families. The Fund was established in April 2022 by the late Jim Plews-Ogan, MD, an emeritus associate professor of pediatrics at UVA, and his wife Peggy, after he was diagnosed with ALS.
