This gathering will showcase the creative partnership between UVA researchers and art students from Charlottesville High School.
Through Magnify, UVA researchers share their scientific work with students, who then create original artwork inspired by the research. Students also visit UVA lab spaces, gaining firsthand experience with the scientific process and the people behind it. This year’s show will feature more than 40 new student pieces, highlights from past years, and several works contributed by UVA researchers.
The free exhibition is open to everyone and will remain on view for the following week and can be visited during the Creator Hub’s open hours, Monday through Friday, 9 a.m.- 5 p.m.
