Design for All Ages: Equity and the Built Environment

How do architecture and civic planning influence our societal expectations around aging? What kinds of design would lead to more livable communities? Abby Fifer Mandell, senior lecturer in entrepreneurship at the University of Southern California and visiting scholar at the University of Virginia School of Medicine will facilitate a conversation with Jessica Ellen Sewell, PhD, and Andrew Mondschein, PhD, associate professors of urban and environmental planning at the UVA School of Architecture.
