20th Annual UVA Conference of Liver Disease and Gastroneterology

This conference is designed to provide general and gastroenterology physicians, physician assistants, nurse practitioners, and other health care providers the opportunity to learn about and discuss the advances in the diagnosis and treatment of liver and GI disease:

• Apply GLP-1 therapies used with close monitoring for side effects
• Identify and apply standard antibiotic regimens for H. Pylori eradication
• Use electrocautery methods for polyp removal
• Apply new techniques on hemostasis
• List newer cholestasis medications and apply to individualized regimens; understand when to use combination therapies for varices
• Learn about supportive care options for multi organ damage in cirrhosis patients
