Innovation in Education Week, hosted by the Center for Excellence in Education (CEE), will be held March 3-7, 2025. This annual event serves as an opportunity to celebrate original scholarship produced by members of the UVA-SOM community, to provide networking opportunities, and to welcome accomplished internal and external scholars who will provide professional development through keynote presentations.

The entire UVA-SOM community, including faculty, trainees, students, and staff are invited to attend any and all events.

This year’s highlights include oral and poster presentations by a wide range of students, trainees, and faculty, as well as keynote presentations focused on growth mindset and motivation in the landscape of health professions education. The week concludes with a poster and awards reception Wednesday evening, where poster authors will be present and sharing about their educational research and innovations. The reception is open to all School of Medicine faculty, trainees, and staff.
