The Biomedical Sciences Graduate Program (BIMS) held their annual Graduate Biosciences Symposium on Wednesday, April 11, 2025. The day was filled with a high-energy poster session, terrific talks from the Outstanding Student awardees from our PhD programs, a great talk by the student-invited keynote speaker Caroline Bartman, PhD, the presentation of the GBS Leadership, Peach and Hungerford awards, and a lively reception.

The GBS members who contributed to the organizing the symposium, spearheaded by Ross Rivera, Daniel Phipps and Claire Fleming, did a great job coordinating the event. Appreciation is also extended to the Graduate Biosciences Society and Graduate Programs Office for their sponsorship. The participants and volunteers also played an important role in making the event a success.

Congratulations to all the recipients of awards and recognitions!
