Purpose
With the implementation of STEP VA, Same Day Access and engagement into outpatient treatment within 10 days, the Prince William County CSB has experienced challenges and would like a review of processes and procedures and recommended improvements.
Background
The PWC CSB is averaging approximately 56 individuals a week walking in for clinical assessments who need services (we have demand for more but limited in capacity for assessments). We have waiting lists for outpatient services. Although we are required to get individuals from assessment into outpatient treatment within 10 days, we have been running waiting lists of individuals with multiple needs and no staff capacity.
The VHEOC is a consortium of five public universities funded under the SAMHSA State Opioid Response Grant and administered by the UVA SOM.
Key Dates
All project work must be completed by September 30, 2020.
Proposals are due by 19-February, 2020.
