Beginning Feb. 20, UVA Health will no longer support WebEx as an option for hosting virtual meetings within the organization. In its place, virtual meetings will transition to both Microsoft Teams and Zoom as primary meeting platforms.
This decision comes after much deliberation in determining how best to streamline collaboration, as well as enhance functionality, security, and ease of use.
To make this transition as simple as possible, please begin to adopt Teams or Zoom for future meetings. Meeting organizers need to manually recreate all current WebEx meetings using Zoom or Teams before Feb. 20, 2025. Meetings scheduled in WebEx after Feb. 20, 2025 will not function.
