Edward \u201cJack\u201d Jackson Director of the Office of the Chief Medical Officer<\/p><\/div>\n

Edward \u201cJack\u201d Jackson has joined the UVA Health System, serving in the role of Director of the Office of the Chief Medical Officer. Most recently Jack was in working in Richmond, VA where he served as a director of Sports Medicine and Rehabilitation and as Vice President of Orthopedic and Spine service lines for the HCA Richmond hospitals.<\/p>\n

Jack\u2019s clinical background is in rehabilitation services where he began his professional healthcare career working as a physical therapist at a Level 1 Trauma Center in Central Florida.\u00a0\u00a0 Jack completes his Masters of Science in Healthcare Administration from Virginia Commonwealth University in May. His wife Denise and his three girls are excited to be relocating to Charlottesville.<\/p>\n

Thanks to Mike Marquardt, former Director of the CMO, now Chief of Staff for Rick Shannon, during this transition. An additional \u201cthank you\u201d to Chris Branin who has been assisting the Office in the transition period as well.<\/p>\n
