UVA Health providers may request an interpreter to join telehealth sessions in real time for the following languages:
- American Sign Language
- Arabic
- Dari
- Pashto
- Spanish
Interpreting services will be provided by Globo, which estimates an interpreter will join your call within 60 seconds of requesting. Look for the “Request Interpreter” button when you join your Epic video client telehealth session and follow the prompts. The HIT Service Desk is available to provide support and respond to any issues with this new Epic telehealth feature.
