Our students increasingly come to us with a strong interest and desire for experience with global health, and they want those experiences while in medical school.
While we’ve been able to give students international experiences for many decades – we started with students going to Costa Rica in 1985 – – Two and half years ago we appointed Dr. Leigh Grossman, as Associate Dean for International Programs, to help expand and improve the organization of our international offerings.
We want our students to have structured and meaningful and safe clinical and research opportunities in foreign countries. Students frequently benefit from working alongside our faculty.
