Matthew Howard, MD, ’85 (center) was the recipient of the 2024 Walter Reed Distinguished Achievement Award.
The UVA Medical Alumni Association is accepting nominations of alumni, faculty, and housestaff for six awards:
- Walter Reed Distinguished Achievement Award
- Distinguished Achievement Award in Biomedical Sciences
- MD Early Achievement Award
- Early Achievement Award in Biomedical Sciences
- 1819 Alumni Society Award
- Humanitarian Award
Award criteria and nomination forms can be found online through the UVA Medical Alumni Association website.
Nominations are due by July 31; award winners will be announced in early September.
