Dr. Homan, Noah, and Dr. Pinn
The University of Virginia Medical Alumni Association hosted a reception for Northern Virginia alumni and current Pinn College medical students at the Inova Fairfax Medical Campus on Thursday, Jan. 15. Among the attendees was Vivian Pinn, MD, ’67, namesake of Pinn College.
This reception is held annually in January to welcome the new class of Pinn College students to the Inova Fairfax Medical Campus and the broader Northern Virginia community for their clinical clerkships. Students had an opportunity to mingle, engage in small group dialogue with Dr. Pinn, pictured on right with Homan Wai, MD, Assistant Dean for Student Affairs, Inova Campus, and his son, Noah, and build a supportive network of fellow students, faculty members, and local alumni.
Established in 1949, the University of Virginia Medical Alumni Association is an independent organization dedicated to serving the School of Medicine, the University of Virginia, and more than 17,000 student, alumni, faculty and housestaff constituents. A board of directors governs the Medical Alumni Association.
