The 2025 Sustainability Leadership Award nominations cycle, led by UVA’s Office for Sustainability, is open.
The University of Virginia envisions environmental sustainability as fundamental to its overall commitment to making the world a better place and of being a good neighbor locally and globally, today and in the future. This award honors those who exhibit an overall commitment to advancing sustainability practices and solutions.
Nominations are accepted for each of the four categories: UVA students/groups; UVA staff/departments; UVA faculty/departments; and local (Charlottesville, Albemarle, and surrounding counties) community members or groups.
You may nominate yourself or your group/department/organization, or you may nominate others.
The deadline is Monday, Feb. 24, at 5 p.m.
