Nominations for the UVA Leonard Sandridge Outstanding Contributor Award are currently being accepted through October 25.
This award is named in honor of Leonard W. Sandridge, an avid champion of UVA staff, who dedicated 44 years of service to the University. The award recognizes staff and team members whose service and contribution far exceeds the overall mission and values of the University. Nominations are viewed by a selection committee which considers contributions that have enhanced internal or public regard for the services provided by the University or Commonwealth. Service contributions to the University can be in the form of service to students, other customers of the University, patients, management, fellow employees or the community.
