Event LinkIn this one day in-person course, a team of multi-disciplinary experts will present on topics that are highly relevant for practicing gastroenterologists, hepatologists, primary care physicians, physician assistants, advanced practice providers, nurses, and anyone involved with providing patient care for liver disease before, during and after transplantation.
Topics of focus include alcohol and the liver transplant candidate, patient experience, sarcopenic obesity and cirrhosis, transplant for hilar cholangiocarcinoma patients, use of GLP1As and bariatric surgery for patients with MASLD, anonymous living donation, socioeconomic, racial and gender disparities in transplant, indications for treatment and liver transplant for patients with cirrhosis.
