Sarthak Virmani, MBBS, Elected Co-Chair of Trainee and Young Faculty Community of Practice for American Society of Transplantation

Sarthak Virmani, MBBS, an assistant professor of medicine in nephrology, was elected as the co-chair of the Trainee and Young Faculty Community of Practice (TYF COP) at the American Society of Transplantation (AST). Dr. Virmani will serve for three years: first as co-chair, then as chair and past-chair.

The mission of TYF COP is “to empower transplant professionals throughout their training and early development of their careers, to participate actively and represent their unique needs in AST.”
