The UVA Medical Alumni Association and Department of Public Health Sciences Master of Public Health program hosted an inaugural alumni event in Falls Church on Thursday, March 21. Thirty-one alumni, from the Classes of 2005-2023, were in attendance, along with several faculty members and Matthew J. Gurka, PhD, who was appointed chair of the Department of Public Health Sciences in early February.
