Apply to the First UVA Teaching with Technology Summer Camp!

Apply Now! The University of Virginia’s Teaching Resource Center has assembled a collaborative team of UVA units (Collab, A&S Technology Strategies, Digital Media Lab) to offer the first Teaching with Technology Summer Camp. This series will provide an open, collaborative forum in which faculty explore, test, adopt, and integrate effective, often innovative pedagogies and learning technologies. The Teaching with Technology Summer Camp will help instructors utilize emerging technologies and teaching strategies to enhance the UVA student learning experience. This five-day professional development opportunity immerses participants in a variety of hands-on workshops, training sessions and thought-provoking discussions about innovative pedagogy, instructional technology and new media. Faculty can choose one of two themes: Technology-Enhanced Learning & Assessment, or Designing Media-Rich Course Assignments.

When: Teaching with Technology Summer Camp will be held Monday–Friday, June 22-26
Where: UVA Robertson Media Center/Clemons Library
Application: To apply to this program and receive full consideration, please complete all portions of the online application at Teaching with Technology Summer Camp by Friday, April 10. Applicants will be notified of decisions beginning Monday, April 20.
